Fact: 462 (92.4%) of the top 500 Supercomputers run on GNU/Linux, 25 on UNIX. The list is lead by “Sequoia – BlueGene/Q, Power BQC 16 Core 1.60 GHz” Supercomputer” running GNU/Linux.
